Locally, Haverhill, Lowell and Methuen have the most licenses. Reading and North Reading are in the 9-20 range of total licenses. The information presented in the chart reflects all types of liquor licenses; seasonal, wine and beer, restaurants and clubs.
The data is from the Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission and reflects 2011 filings.
