Come One, Come All To Dorian-Free Fall Street Faire

Sunday's event starts at noon on Haven Street and town center.

READING, Ma. – There are many activities to enjoy all day Sunday in Reading at the 11th Annual Fall Street Faire. The best news may be the weather. Dorian will be gone and the skies should be bright with temperatures in the mid-70s.

The day kicks off the family-friendly 5K at Washington Park at 8:30 a.m. For those pre-registered, bib pickup and shirts on Saturday from 11:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Tread on the Mill, 13 High Street in Reading. On race day you can register in person via cash or check and pickup your bib at Washington Park from 6:45- 7:45 a.m.

The fun continues when the Faire opens at noon with hundreds of vendors, activities, food and attractions including inflatables, live music and an Antique & Classic Car Show in the lot behind CVS. Enjoy the tailgate at and the second annual cornhole classic tournament at 25 Haven Street in the Rite Aid Parking Lot. New this year over $500 Cash prizes and gift cards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place (but it’s really about Town bragging rights !!!). And all cornhole players get free entrance to the tailgate and beer tickets.

The Fair is planned by a large group of seasoned volunteers who would like to recognize the very generous sponsors for this year’s event. Gold Sponsors are Northern Bank, Salem Five, CTA Consulting, and Beacon Consulting. The Silver Event sponsors are Lahey Health/Winchester Hospital, Sartell Electric, Hallmark Health /MelroseWakefield Hospital, The Residence at Pearl Street, Prime Motor Group, Eastern Bank, Cooling Unlimited, Lee Kimball, and REMAX

All event proceeds will be donated to the Rotary. Reading Rotary supports many vital community concerns including the Reading Food Pantry; Reading Scholarship Foundation; purchase of wheelchair accessible van for elderly and disabled residents; providing reading books to Reading Kindergartners; distributing trees to all Reading 5th graders for Arbor Day; Adopt a Family and much more.
