What do you think about having an electronic billboard in town? You can share your opinion at the Community Planning and Development Commission's public hearing on August 12 at 8 p.m. in the selectmen's meeting room at Town Hall, according to the Chronicle.
In order to allow the billboard in town, changes must be made to Section 6.2 Signs of the Reading Zoning Bylaws, the Chronicle said.
This issue came up last year, and even though town officials estimate that the billboard would bring about $50,000 a year to Reading, residents were opposed to it.
