Earth Day Activities in Reading

Celebrate Earth Day in Reading on April 27. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mattera Cabin, the Reading Climate Committee will have several kids activities and nature walks to participate in.

Residents are encouraged to attend to learn about recycling, gardening and composting, energy and water conservation and Reading's land and conservation trails.

Kids will be able to participate in a nature walk, finding trees their age, a nature scavenger hunt, crafting a bird feeder and nature rubbings.
