Fire Significantly Damages Reading Home, Forces 5 Out
The blaze was reported early Thursday morning, fire officials said.
READING, MA — A second-alarm fire forced residents to evacuate a Reading home, according to Reading Firefighters Local 1640. The fire was reported at a Libby Avenue home at 2 a.m. Thursday.
Firefighters arrived at the single-family home to find "heavy fire conditions."
The people in the house were able to escape and no injuries were reported.

There were five people who escaped the home, according to WHDH 7-News.
Mutual aid from other fire departments assisted in extinguishing the blaze and covering the station during the fire.
