Where/when: Bentley University, Saturday at 2 p.m.

FROSTY'S FAIR
Where/when: Union Congregational Church, Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 9 a.m. 
Why go: Enjoy shopping, pictures with Santa, games and food.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING BABYSITTING NIGHT
Where/when: Recreation Center at Ipswich River Park, Friday at 5:30 to 9 p.m.  
Why go: FONRPRC, Inc is hosting a Holiday Shopping Babysitting night for parents to shop without the kids. The cost is $20 per child or $30 for a family maximum of three siblings. Children must be three-years or older and potty trained. Register online. 

FESTIVAL OF TREES
Where/when: Walter S. Parker Middle School, Saturday at noon and Sunday at 10 a.m. 
Why go: Kick off your holiday season by visiting Reading’s 11th annual Festival of Trees, a winter wonderland of decorated Holiday Trees donated by local families, organizations, businesses and schools that visitors can win.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING AT PUTNAM HOUSE
Where/when: The North Reading Historical and Antiquarian Society, Saturday at 11 a.m.
Why go: Pick up the latest ornament for yourself or to give as a gift.
