1. Weather. The temperature will reach 46 degrees today with a low of 41. Expect some late afternoon showers.

2. Reading Selectmen. The selectmen will meet at Reading Town Hall at 7 p.m. A joint meeting with the School Committee regarding the purchase or sale of real estate for full day kindergarten is on the agenda.

3. North Reading School Committee. The North Reading School Committee will meet at North Reading Middle School at 6:30 p.m.

4. Dessert party. Longwood Place is holding a Dessert Decadence party at 2 p.m. Enjoy desserts and live music. 

5. Energy smart home. Stop by the Reading Public Library at 7 p.m. to hear from Meteorologist Ray Porter who will share ways to make your home more energy efficient.
