Five Things to Know Today: Nov. 16
Your guide to events and happenings in Reading and North Reading today.

Today is Friday, Nov. 16. Here are five things you need to know today:
1. The weather. The temperature will reach 47 degrees today and drop to 31 overnight. Expect partly cloudy skies.
2. North Reading Board of Registrars. The Board of Registrars will meet at North Reading Town Hall at 5:50 p.m. to process overseas ballots.

3. Footloose. The RMHS drama club will perform Footloose at Reading Memorial High School at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15.
4. We are lights. Stop by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading at 7 p.m. for their holiday program "We are Lights" that celebrates the holiday season. The performers, who are students in grades three to eight, sing, dance and act. The show is free.

5. Boy Scouts collect donations for Sandy victims. North Reading's Boy Scout Troop 750 is helping Boy Scout Troop 48 of Lynnfield in a partnership with the Scouts from the Aquehonga District, the home of Boy Scouts on Staten Island to coordinate the donation of supplies to families affected by Hurricane Sandy. Troop 48 has a 48-foot trailer that will be at the Lynnfield Middle School, 505 Main Street, Lynnfield, to gather supplies from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. Today is the last day to donate.
