Four Syringes Found Over Weekend

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Friday, April 12

• At 11:35 a.m., an employee from the Shell gas station reported a shoplifting incident.
• At 2:59 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on West Street. No injuries were reported.
• At 5:27 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on High Street. No injuries were reported.

Saturday, April 13

• At 1:51 a.m., a Charles Street resident reported that his daughter stole his car.
• At 2:44 p.m., a caller reported finding a hypodermic needle on the sidewalk on High Street.
• At 4:01 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Walkers Brook Drive. No injuries were reported.
• At 6:37 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Walkers Brook Drive. The injuries were unknown.
• At 10:13 p.m., a caller reported a syringe found on General Way. 

Sunday, April 14

• At 11:03 a.m., a caller reported a syringe found on Willow Street. 
• At 5:53 p.m., a caller reported a syringe found on John Street.
