Hurricane Henri Weather Alert For Town Of Reading

Hurricane Henri is expected to make landfall Sunday evening in New England. High winds will begin in our area Saturday night. Currently we expect Tropical Storm conditions with peak sustained winds of 49 mph from Sunday 10pm to Monday 7pm. We are expecting 2-4” of rain, in heavy bands. These amounts could change as the storm approaches landfall.

We advise businesses and residents to secure outdoor furnishings, clean downspouts, ensure catch basins are clear of debris, charge mobile phones, and prepare for potential power outages.
