Julie Higgins Leaving RNR Chamber

Executive Director of the Reading North Reading Chamber of Commerce Julie Higgins recently announced that she is "moving on." Her last day will be July 31.

Higgins, a North Reading resident, took over for Irene Collins in April of 2012.  Collins left the chamber to become Executive Director of the Burbank YMCA.

The chamber is now seeking a new Executive Director. The candidate should be an "influential professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills," according to a recent release. The candidate should also have experience fundraising, managing multiple projects, event planning and marketing.

The position is full-time and requires that the candidate be available some nights, weekends and holidays. If you are interested in applying, send your resume, cover letter and salary requirements to:
