Letter to the Editor: North Reading Baseball Players to Compete in International Baseball Tourny
RJ Warnock and Ryan Mcauliffe need your help to make it to Italy to play on the team.

Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I am writing this letter on behalf RJ Warnock and Ryan Mcauliffe, both who are members of the North Reading Hornet 2012 Division 3 State Champion team. RJ and Ryan's outstanding performance during their high school careers has been recognized nationally and internationally; getting them selected to play on Team America Baseball; which will be competing in the International Baseball Tournament in Italy called "Italy Baseball Week, August 19- 27.
Team America will be playing against national teams from Italy, Canada, and Czech Republic. The team is operated by Caliendo Sports International who provides the outstanding coaching and administrative staffs to ensure the players take full advantage of this "once in a lifetime", cultural opportunity.

Even though this is a once in a lifetime opportunity; it comes with a significant expense associated with the trip and participating as member of the team. Each selected player must pay $1,575 to play on the team plus approx. $1,500 in travel expenses. This letter is to reach out to our community for financial assistance in helping these young men raise the $3,000 each to participate in this amazing opportunity.
If you are interested in contributing in any way, you can do so by sending a donation to the following:

Due to the short timeline to commit to participating in this opportunity, we were unable to establish a tax deductible fund. So with that said, your contribution is not tax deductible. I hope this doesn't discourage you to from contributing. Opportunities like this don't come around too often and can open future opportunities that will have major lifelong effects in both RJ and Ryan's lives and the exposure for our wonderful community as well.
