Press release by Jennifer Estabrooks for Colonial Chorus Players

READING, MA — This holiday season Colonial Chorus Players of Reading is proud to present the premiere of A Little Women Christmas, a new radio play based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott.

“This adaptation centers around a year in the life of Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy from one Christmas to the next,” says Jennifer Estabrooks, who adapted the novel for the stage. “It’s the story of a family struggling through war, poverty, and sickness, but they never lose their abiding love for one another, sense of humor in the midst of difficulties, or hope for the future.”
