Man Wanted in Connection with Reading, Tewksbury Carjackings
The carjacking happened at Dress Barn on Wednesday and police say he's a person of interest in an attempted carjacking in Reading.

Reading, MA - Police are looking for a man who is a person of interest in a carjacking Wednesday in Tewksbury. The vehicle involved was later found abandoned in Wilmington.

Police say he's a person of interest in a carjacking in Reading Thursday that left residents locked in their homes as officials in that community continue to search for that suspect.
Tewksbury Police say on Wednesday, March 30 they responded to the Dress Barn located at 10 Main St. for a report of female who had been robbed as she left work.

As the victim approached her vehicle she was grabbed and had her purse taken as well as her vehicle. The vehicle was recovered in Wilmington with no sign of the suspect. The victim was not physically harmed.
Detectives were able to obtain an identification of the suspect through surveillance video and from a previous drug arrest on March 29 (possession with intent to distribute heroin at Wal-Mart). Michael Munroe, 32, of 24 Epping St., Apt. #2, Raymond N.H is wanted for carjacking, robbery and larceny over $250.
Munroe is a person of interest in an attempted carjacking in Reading on March 31.
