Meet Your Neighbor: Sandy Griffin

Name: Sandy Griffin

Family: Husband, Jeff of 22 years, daughter Sara age 28, son Joshua age 21, son Jeremy age 17 and daughter Sophia age 9, dog Samantha age 3 and cat Suki age 5

Why North Reading?: We moved to North Reading from Saugus, seven years ago. We chose North Reading because it was quiet with a low population and because it was a beautiful tree covered town. It just seemed like a good place to raise kids. 

Industry: I am a Certified Yoga Teacher, teaching classes at at 4 Lowell Rd, North Reading. I have been certified for five years now and I love teaching yoga!! Before that I was an "At Home Mom" for many years.  

School: I graduated from Revere High School in 1985. I was a retail Manager for several years before having my son Josh. That is when I decided to be an At Home Mom, which is truly the toughest job in the world!! I was certified as a Yoga Teacher in 2007 after a year long training. I still continue to attend Yoga teacher trainings at Pathways, where I was certified.  

Hobbies: I love bargain shopping, especially for my home. I also love going to the beach in late afternoon. It is so relaxing! Watching Sophia dance with The . Also, I am a Girl Scout Troop Leader. And of course Yoga practice!!

Favorite Music:  I like all kinds of music from Rock to country. Everything from U2 to Taylor Swift.

Favorite Movie: I love just about any movie that ends on a happy note. Nothing sad or scary for me.

Favorite Restaurant: Sol Bean Cafe in Middleton
