"This is a reminder that as safe as Reading is, crime can happen anywhere," police said. "Please do not leave valuables in your car, do not leave the car keys in the car, and lock your car doors. Always lock your home as well. Many of these crimes are often committed through unlocked cars and homes. We know life is busy and we are here for you but just a reminder."
