Wilmington High School Grieving Death of Senior Student: WILMINGTON-- Wilmington High School students and faculty are grieving the loss of a student who died over the long weekend.

Principal Eric Tracy confirmed Tuesday morning that senior Joseph Murphy died, and that the school will be do anything it can to help students grieve.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and classmates of one of our own, Wilmington High School senior Joseph Murphy," said Tracy in an e-mail to Patch. "This is a difficult time for the Wilmington High family."

Funeral services were held Thursday for the senior who was remembered by a teacher as having a "warm smile, fun sense of humor, and sensitive heart (that) will remain forever in my memory.”

Ferreira's Fate Now In The Hands Of A Jury: TEWKSBURY--About the only facts that Assistant District Attorney Tom O'Reilly and Defense Atty. Eric Wilson agree on is that Johnny McCabe was murdered some time in the early morning hours of Sept. 27, 1969 and that his death was a horrible tragedy.
