No One Injured As Dump Truck Strikes Parked Car In Reading
The truck rolled down a small hill before crashing into a car, Reading Police Chief David Clark said.
READING, MA — A dump truck rolled into a parked car in Reading on Thursday, Reading Police Chief David Clark confirmed on Thursday afternoon.
WHDH Channel 7 first reported the incident, saying the crash took place Thursday morning in the Selfridge Road area of Reading.
In a statement to Patch, Clark said the dump truck rolled “a short distance” down a hill before striking and totaling a car.

Channel 7 reported two cars with damage, though one vehicle appeared to have taken the brunt of the impact.
No one was injured and there were no road closures associated with this crash, Clark said.
