North Reading Girl Scout Raises Cookie Dough For Troop

Jillian Wallace sold more than 500 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies.

The following was submitted by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts:

Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts is proud to announce that North Reading Girl Scout Jillian Wallace sold 541 boxes of Girl Scout cookies this year. The Girl Scout Cookie program allows girls to set goals, learn money management, and develop marketing skills.

The activity of selling cookies is directly related to the organization’s purpose of helping all Girl Scouts realize their full potential and become strong, confident and resourceful citizens.  Girl Scout troops use funds from the cookie activity to fund a service project or to plan for an exciting trip. With the proceeds she earned from selling cookies, Jillian’s troop will go camping, her favorite thing to do.
