Joel Laskin, 37, of 4 Judith Drive in North Reading was arrested on charges of illegal possession of a knife and three counts of possession of class B substances at 1:37 p.m. on Tuesday. were dispatched to on Endicott Street in Danvers, on report of an intoxicated man staggering around the store. When police arrived at Market Basket, an employee told them the man in question had knocked over a sign, and was yelling at another employee, according to the police report. Laskin, who according to court records had slurred speech and wasn't making sense, had a warrant from the Salem District Court for possession of class A and class C drugs. After placing handcuffs on Laskin, police found a small plastic bag of Suboxone and Adderal, as well as a rolled marijuana joint in his pocket. Laskin was arraigned at Salem District Court on Wednesday, May 2 and was held on a $500 bail. He will return to court on May 23.
