Obituary: Robert 'Bo' Kiley, 82, Of Reading
"He loved life, his family, home, gardening, the ocean and enjoyed a good joke and horse racing."

READING, MA — Robert J. Kiley III (Bo, Bob) a long time Reading resident passed away with his family by his side on July 4, 2021 after a long illness. Bo was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be so missed. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Joyce (Ferguson) and son, Steven Kiley and his wife Anne, he was preceded in death by his son Robert (Bob) Kiley. He loved spending time with his grandchildren; Robert, Jennifer and Ashleigh. He was the brother of the late Christopher Kiley and sister to the late Bonnie Tuccilli. He was brother- in-law to Joan and Bruce Coles of CO, Anthony Tuccilli of NC, Karen Kiley of Saugus survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was born in Melrose, MA on November 2, 1938, the son of Robert J. and Helen Kiley. After graduating from Melrose High School in 1957, he served in the US Navy aboard the Destroyer Escort USS Price. Following his tour of duty, he ran Kiley Farm Dairy of Melrose for several years before working as a supervisor for a painting contractor. Later he started his own company, Kiley & Associates, with his sons, Steven and Bob. Steven continues to run the business from offices in Reading and Wilmington.
He loved life, his family, home, gardening, the ocean and enjoyed a good joke and horse racing. He was a past president of the Melrose Fish and Game Club and the Stoneham Coin Club.
