Overnight Blaze Hits Historic District Home In Reading
A fire at a home under construction was reported early Wednesday morning, according to reports.
READING, MA — A fire broke out at a Summer Avenue home that's under construction in Reading, according to NBC 10 Boston.
The barn behind the home caught fire and burned down. Part of the home reignited and became fully involved, NBC 10 Boston reported.
The fire at the home in the town's historic district was reported at 1:30 a.m. when a firefighter was returning from another call and called for backup.

Firefighters tried to attack the blaze from the interior but had to go outside due to construction debris and hazards, Boston 25-News reported.
There were no injuries. The home was under construction and had been vacant.
