Peabody Resident Arrested for OUI in North Reading

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the North Reading Police Department from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 3:40 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a car accident on North Street. As a result of the accident, Joshua R. McClory, 27, of 392 Lowell St., Peabody was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, second offense and a marked lanes violation.

At 3:19 p.m. Monday, Robert Michael Linnehan, 49, of 54 Exeter St., Hampton Falls, N.H. was arrested on charges of shoplifting, fugitive from justice on a court warrant, giving a false name and address to a police officer and conspiracy on Main Street. At the same time, Shane P. Patten, 40, of 27A Seabreeze Ln., Nahant was arrested on charges of shoplifting and conspiracy.

Friday, Nov. 2

• At 1:57 a.m., the manager from 7 Eleven reported that three young males just left the store and placed trash under her vehicle and in the door handle. The manager was given the operator's information for a possible no trespass order.
• 2:19 p.m., a Nutter Road resident reported finding bones and a knife on the ground where a tree was uprooted from the storm. Police sent the bones to a crime lab for investigation and found that the bones were from pigs and chickens.

Saturday, Nov. 3

• At 9:05 a.m., a Pilgrim Way resident reported a young child locked inside a running vehicle. The child opened the door.
• At 11:43 a.m., a resident walked into the police station and turned in money he found.
• At 10:58 p.m., a Main Street resident reported kids partying the parking lot near the dumpster. The kids were gone when police arrived.

Sunday, Nov. 4

• At 8:01 a.m., a North Street resident reported that his car was entered overnight and GPS stolen.
• At 9:21 a.m., a Voke Street resident reported that his mailbox was damaged.
• At 5:49 p.m., a resident walked into the police station to report that someone opened a Home Depot account in her name and made online charges.

Monday, Nov. 5

• At 5:52 a.m., a caller reported a car hit a tree on Park Street. No injuries were reported.
• At 9:18 a.m., a resident walked into the police station to report that his roomate may have stolen property from him.

Tuesday, Nov. 6

• At 12:20 p.m., a caller reported a minor car accident on Park Street. No injuries were reported.
• At 2:28 p.m., Walmart reported that a male exited the store with a television without paying for it. As a result of the call, a 30-year-old Tyngsborough male was summonsed for shopliting by asportation, second offense.
• At 10:37 p.m., a Greenbriar Drive resident reported that someone stole packages he had delivered by Fed Ex.
