Pleasant Street Home Broken Into in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the log from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.
Friday, July 6
- At 1:07 a.m., an officer found graffiti on the back of .
- At 5:42 p.m., a caller reported harassing phone calls.
- At 10:37 p.m., a caller reported youths gathering on Pleasant Street. Police found balls of duct tape in the area, but no damage.

- At 10:21 a.m., a caller reported that her vehicle was hit while parked on General Way.
- At 10:49 a.m., the owner of a hair salon reported harassing phone calls. A customer was not happy with her daughter's hair style and called six times asking that the owner pay for her daughter to be styled at another salon. The customer was refunded in full for the service.
- At 12:58 p.m., a caller reported that a male attempted to break into his vehicle.
- At 2:16 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 2:58 p.m., a caller reported that her window was smashed on Sunset Rock Lane.
- At 9:11 p.m., a caller reported fireworks in the area of Timberneck Drive. Police spoke to the homeowner and advised them of the complaint. The homeowner agreed to stop.
- At 10:01 p.m., a caller reported fireworks in the area of Colonial Drive. Police checked the area, but did not find anything.
- At 11:34 p.m., a caller reported fireworks in the area of Winthrop Avenue. Police checked the area, but did not find anything.
Sunday, July 8
- At 1:57 a.m., an officer found graffiti on Parker Middle School. It may have been old graffiti that was painted over.
- At 1:52 p.m., a Pleasant Street resident reported that her house was broken into. She returned home to find the door smashed in.
