Reading Affordable Housing Lottery: 14 Units In New Complex

READING, MA — The town will hold a lottery for 14 affordable units in an upcoming apartment community. Ace Flats is scheduled to open in February 2021 at 24 Gould Street.

To qualify, household income must not exceed 80 percent of the area median income for Reading. Ten of the affordable units will be offered to applicants who live, work or have children who attend school in Reading.

The initial leasing of affordable units will be through a lottery. Applications and information forms must be received by Aug. 15. Any application received after the deadline will be placed on the property's waitlist following the completion of the initial lottery. Incomplete applications will be returned via regular mail for completion and will not be included in the lottery until they are completed and returned by Aug. 15.
