Reading Education Foundation Hosting 19th Festival Of Trees
The annual event includes live entertainment, food trucks and a raffle of close to 100 uniquely decorated trees.
READING, MA — The Reading Education Foundation will host its 19th annual Festival of Trees on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4 and 5.
The fundraising event features a winter wonderland of decorated holiday trees donated by local families, organizations, businesses and schools that festival visitors can win for themselves.
With close to 100 uniquely decorated trees of all shapes, sizes and themes, visitors can try their luck at winning the raffles for their favorite trees. In addition, there will be crafts for children offered by Creative Arts; entertainment provided by school choruses, bands and local groups; and food trucks.

On Saturday night from 5-8 p.m., the festival will host its "Night with the Trees," where children are welcome to come in their pajamas for a sing-a-long, games and reading of "The Polar Express." The winners of the tree raffles will be selected at closing on Sunday night.
Masks will be required for all attendees.

Hours: Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to
4 p.m.
Location: Parker Middle School, 45 Temple Street, Reading.
Tickets: $5/person, $10/family. Admission and raffle tickets are available in advance through
REF's website. Raffle tickets purchased in advance will be preprinted with purchaser's raffle
number on the back. Online ticket sales will close Nov. 28, and after that are only
available for purchase at the festival. Admission to the Festival of Trees is valid for the entire
weekend, so entrants can return for any of the scheduled activities.
