Reading Elementary Students Deliver Valentines To Senior Community
Students from a local elementary school hand-delivered Valentines to seniors, which had "residents smiling from ear to ear."

READING, MA — Students from Joshua Eaton Elementary School in Reading visited a senior living community Friday to hand-deliver Valentine's cards to residents.
Erin Hollis, Community Service co-chair of the school's PTO, said in a statement: “Joshua Eaton remains dedicated to building a student community that promotes learning, curiosity, inclusivity and kindness. Throughout the year, students are encouraged to participate in several initiatives that collect in-demand items for charities directly benefiting the Reading community. This visit to the Residence at Pearl Street goes one step further allowing students to meet members of their community and give-back on a more personal level. The PTO thought Valentine’s Day would provide the perfect backdrop as we bring these two groups in our community together.”
Beverly Curry, resident engagement director at The Residence at Pearl Street, said they had a great visit with the students.
