Reading Lifts Overnight Parking Ban
The all-night parking ban has been lifted for spring, but may be temporarily implemented again in the event of snow.
READING, MA — Reading is lifting the all-night parking ban put in place for the winter. There will be no overnight parking year-round in the municipal lots, including:
- Senior Center Parking Lot
- Brande Court Parking Lot
- Upper Municipal Lot (Behind CVS)
- Harden Street Lot
- Town Hall
- Library
- Train Depot ( with one exception)
If there is enough snow to be plowed, the parking ban will be put in effect for that night only.
There is now one lot at the depot that will allow overnight parking year-round with a valid Reading Access Sticker. In the event of snow, all vehicles must be removed from 6-9 a.m. to allow for snow clearing.
