Reading McDonald's Plans Full Rebuild, 2nd Drive-Through Lane: Report

READING, MA — McDonald's plans to rebuild its Main Street restaurant and add a second drive-through lane, The Daily Times Chronicle reported. Reading's Zoning Board of Appeals approved special permits allowing the drive-through along with digital menu boards at a recent meeting.

The redevelopment would involve razing the 3,400-square-foot restaurant and rebuilding it with a modern aesthetic at a cost of an estimated $2 million.
