Reading, North Reading Chamber Announces Winterfest Details

The March 9 event will feature drinks, s'mores, fire tables, ice sculptures, a visit from Olaf of "Frozen" fame and music.

READING, MA — The Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce has announced details of its second Winterfest next month.

The free, all-ages event is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on March 9 in Reading Square and will feature drinks, s'mores, fire tables, ice sculptures, a visit from Olaf of "Frozen" fame and music.

The festival takes place during Massachusetts Beer Week, and a beer garden will feature offerings from Hopothecary Ales, Gentile Brewing Company and Small Change Brewing. Snacks will be provided by Swiss Bakers and Cupcake City.

"We are excited to host Winterfest this year in Reading Square," said Catherine Barton Rossetti, president of the chamber. "We encourage everyone to get outside, see neighbors and friends and enjoy downtown and our local businesses."

The chamber said the signature sponsor of Winterfest is Kiara Mooney Salon Spa and Spiritual Spa. Other sponsorships remain available, including:
