Reading Police Seek To ID Suspect In Package Theft

READING, MA — Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in a package theft.

A Woburn Street resident reported that an iPhone was delivered via FedEx to their doorstep then stolen a short while later.

The suspect had a red DoorDash bag with them when the theft occurred.

"We had several reports of package thefts that day," police wrote. "We encourage residents to require a delivery signature or utilize a shipment drop box whenever possible."
