Juvenile Arrested On Warrant in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the Reading Police Department log from Tuesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 12:45 a.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Haverhill Street, a 16-year-old was arrested on a warrant.

Tuesday, Dec. 18

• At 11:58 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Walkers Brook Drive. The injuries were unknown.
• At 2:34 p.m., a West Street resident reported harassing phone calls.
• At 2:57 p.m., a caller reported an accident on Haven Street. No injuries were reported.
• At 2:33 p.m., a caller reported that ram was taken from a computer at the library.
• At 2:41 p.m., a resident walked into the police station to report harassing phone calls.
• At 5:05 p.m., a caller reported that a male with his pants pulled down to his ankles asked her if she would liked to have a good time near Strout Avenue. Police checked the area, but did not find the male.
• At 6:13 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
• At 7:38 p.m., a caller reported harassing phone calls.

Wednesday, Dec. 19

• At 2:20 p.m., a caller reported that his son was struck by another boy at the Killam School.
• At 2:44 p.m., a caller reported credit card fraud.

Thursday, Dec. 20

• At 6:07 a.m., an employee from the Olde Redding Butcher Shoppe reported that racks were misplaced or stolen.
• At 9:24 a.m., a caller reported a three-car accident on Main Street with no injuries.
• At 3:03 p.m., an officer reported a car accident on Main Street. The injuries were unknown.
• At 3:51 p.m., a caller reported that her iPod touch was smashed on the ground by other youths at Reading Memorial High School.
• At 9:25 p.m., a Sunset Rock Lane resident reported that his car was broken into and a gift and $40 was taken.
