Reading Residents Mistakenly Ticketed In Parking Mixup

READING, MA — A number of cars were mistakenly ticketed in the town-owned lot at the depot building, Reading police said.

The tickets were written by an employee of the MBTA, which has since corrected the issue, police said.

Residents who received a ticket and were legally parked in the depot lot should dispute the ticket on the MBTA's website. In the dispute, clarify that you were parked in a lot owned by the town of Reading, police said.
