Reading Teen Movie Event: Miyazaki Madness
The movie night is Saturday, May 12 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The following was submitted by the Reading Public Library:
Are you mad about Miyazaki? Do you love all things anime? Teens and
Tweens in grades 6-12 are invited to a viewing of one of Hayao Miyazaki
most acclaimed films.
Teens will also be able to make candy sushi and try their hand at the
Japanese drawing technique known as manga.
Movie Description: Join us for a fantasy adventure that depicts the story
of an epic struggle between humanity and nature. With a tangle of cursed
monsters, an assortment of ambitious people, a selfless hero, and
vengeful gods — is remarkable for including no villain, viewers will truly
enjoy Miyazaki’s breathtaking animation and lush imagination. This movie
is rated PG-13.
Additional refreshments will be served. This is a FREE event, no
registration necessary. The movie night is Saturday, May 12 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
