Reading's Catherine Barton Rossetti New President Of Local Chamber
The estate planning attorney has served the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce in various capacities for the last 30 years.

READING, MA — Catherine Barton Rossetti has been named as the new president of the Reading -North Reading Chamber of Commerce, the chamber announced Friday.
Barton Rossetti lives in Reading with her husband and three daughters and is an estate planning attorney at Barton Rossetti Law. Barton Rosetti opened the firm in North Reading in the mid-90s before moving it to Reading, where it is located at 159 Haven St.
Barton Rossetti has served on the Board of Directors periodically over the past 30 years, most recently as secretary and first vice president.

In a post on the chamber's Facebook page announcing Barton Rossetti's appointment, the new president explained why having a strong local business community is so important.
"Supporting local business strengthens our community," Barton Rossetti said. "'Shop Local' is not just a catchphrase, but a growing movement to support your town through accessible and convenient options that keep our dollars here."

Barton Rossetti was nominated for president of the chamber by the organization's Board of Directors, which consists of 15 local business leaders.
Lisa Egan, executive director of the chamber, said she believes Barton Rossetti is the right person to serve as chamber president.
"Catherine will be an asset to the chamber, especially since she is both a resident and a seasoned business owner," Egan said.
