Reading's Natalie Marie Perino Passes Away

Longtime town resident was an active member of the Reading Senior Center.

Natalie Marie Perino (Keohane) age 94, of Reading passed away on July 22.

She was born to the late Jeremiah J. and Alice Keohane (Verner) on June 24, 1924. She grew up in her hometown of Lowell. Natalie was married to Raymond F. Perino on October 19, 1945 until his passing in 2002. She earned her nursing degree at Massachusetts General Hospital and later worked at Winchester Hospital.

Golfing, tennis, bowling, and gardening were among her many talents. She was an active member of the Reading Senior Center where she loved socializing and enjoyed playing bridge (her favorite) and many of the other activities. She enjoyed her yearly trips to Florida where her brother Richard and his wife Grace, nephews Jerry, Tom and niece Mary reside. She also leaves her grandson Denis Lewis and great granddaughter Shaina Lewis from New Hampshire. Natalie relocated to New York in 2013 to live with her daughter Dyan and husband Alan. She was the mother of the late Ray Alan Perino and his wife Mary Jane. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

There will be a memorial graveside service at Charles Lawn Cemetery, on Charles Street, Reading on Wednesday, July 24 at 1 p.m. Family and friends are welcome. For directions and on line guest book visit johnbdouglassfuneralhome.com
