An obituary from the Douglass, Edgerley, & Bessom Funeral Home:

Steven David Carvalho, 56, of Methuen, formerly of Bradford and Reading passed away on June 10. He was born in Fall River to Claire (Harrison) and William Carvalho on January 15, 1963. He lived in Kearny, NJ before moving back to MA where he graduated in 1981 from Reading Memorial High School.

Steven, also known as Stu, was a giving, gentle, forever helpful, humble and smart man. As he was very sociable, everyone who knew him loved him. He enjoyed singing karaoke, watching sports and Jeopardy, solving crypto-quotes, eating out, and being with his friends and family. He was a valuable member of the Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club that his father founded. Steven was owner of Carvalho Painting & Wallpapering Plus More for many years. But what he loved the most and made him the happiest was the years he spent raising his daughter.
