Resident Arrested for Driving With Suspended License

The following is an excerpt from the  log from Friday through Monday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 9:16 p.m. on Friday, as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Grove Street, Benjamin Elgeziry, 22, of 41 Heather Dr., was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

Friday, May 4

  • At 12:34 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Pleasant Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 2:28 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.

Saturday, May 5

  • At 10:51 p.m., a caller reported that his car was hit while parked on Woburn Street. The damage was minor.
  • At 11:41 p.m., a Main Street resident reported money missing from his house.
  • At 1:10 p.m., a Gavin Circle resident reported loud music coming from neighbor's cars.
  • At 4:57 p.m., a caller reported that his truck was damaged due to road construction on Pearl Street and that there were no signs for the construction. Orange barrels were put out to avoid any further damage.
  • At 7:55 p.m., a Harnden Street resident reported a disagreement with his landlord. The tenant had not paid rent in two months. His landlord told him he would "put him in a wheelchair." Police spoke with both involved parties.
  • At 10:28 p.m., police came across youths gathering on Temple Street. The youths had a bottle of alcohol in their possession. Police called the parents of the youths to pick them up.
  • At 11:06 p.m., an officer saw several youths in a vehicle on Beaver Road. Two of the youths had been drinking alcohol and were released to their parents.

Sunday, May 6

  • At 1:17 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 7:16 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on High Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 7:38 p.m., an employee from reported that a guest was unhappy with his order and yelling profanities. The customer was issued a verbal no trespass order.

Monday, May 7

  • At 4:25 p.m., an employee from reported that someone stole inspection stickers.
  • At 6:02 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on General Way. No injuries were reported.
  • At 6:18 p.m., a Hancock Street resident reported that her neighbor asked a suspicious male who pulled into her driveway in a yellow pick up truck if he was expected there. The driver said yes and that he was there to pick up scrap metal. The resident later told her neighbor and police that she was not expecting anyone and that the driver took an old exercise bike from her property and that he had gone through other containers on the property. Police issued a be on the lookout for the man in the yellow pick up truck. 
  • At 9:19 p.m., a detail officer came upon a male on Hartshorn Street with marijuana. The male was issued a by-law violation for the possession of under an ounce of marijuana.
