Road Work To Cause Traffic, Parking Disruptions For Reading

READING, MA — Road resurfacing is scheduled to begin Thursday in Reading. The paving will occur on Woburn Street from Lowell Street to West Street.

The work on Woburn Street is expected to take three days. The first day will be Lowell Street to High Street; the second day is Arlington Street to Summer Avenue; and the third day is Summer Avenue to West Street.

Delays, detours, and road closures should be expected. If you need your vehicle during this time, please relocate it to a street outside of the work zone, the town said.

All on-street parking will be prohibited and strictly enforced by the Reading Massachusetts Police Department.

If you live on Woburn Street and work is occurring on your scheduled trash day, please have your trash and recycling at the curb no later than 6:30 a.m. to ensure pickup.
