Reading, MA - The Reading Police Department is investigating an unarmed bank robbery that occurred today at 12:22PM at the Salem Five Bank located at 8 Walkers Brook Drive. The lone suspect is described as an olive skinned white male, in his mid 20's to early 30's, and approximately 5'6" tall. He is described as having a thin "scrawny" build with slight facial scruff. He was seen wearing a very distinct blue, red, and white baseball cap with what appears to be a New England Patriots logo on the front. He was also wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with white draw strings.The letters "LA" appear in blue and red on the front of the sweatshirt, and what looks to be the word "Liberty" appears underneath the letters. If anyone can identify this suspect or provide any leads, please contact Det. Derek Holmes (781-944-1212).
