Saugus Resident Arrested on Warrant

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the Reading Police Department from Friday through Sunday. The information is open to the public.

Arrests

At 11:25 p.m. Saturday, as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Haven Street, Christopher M. Galvin, 28, of 60 Main St., Saugus was arrested on a warrant.

Friday, July 26

• At 8:01 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.
• At 12:26 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Washington Street. No injuries were reported.
• At 9:19 p.m., as the result of a motor vehicle stop on Arnold Avenue, a driver was given a bylaw citation for possession of under one ounce of marijuana.

Saturday, July 27

• At 5:10 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Elm Street. No injuries were reported.

Sunday, July 28

• At 4:58 p.m., a Colonial Drive resident reported a large limb in the road and another hanging.
• At 8:16 p.m., a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked on Washington Street.
