Scratch Tickets Stolen from Market Basket in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the  log from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, Aug. 29

  • At 11:07 a.m., a caller reported an accident on Salem Street. A man fell off a scooter. No injuries were reported.
  • At 5:36 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. The injuries were unknown.

Thursday, Aug. 30

  • At 7:19 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 11:23 a.m., a caller reported that someone stole scratch tickets from the machine at .
  • At 2:29 p.m., a caller reported finding several syringes on Washington Street. Police disposed of the needles.
  • At 5:23 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on South Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 10:47 p.m., a caller reported a loud house party on Lindsay Lane. Police broke up the party and disposed of the alcohol. All of the youths at the party were picked up by an adult.
  • At 11:48 p.m., a caller reported a fight in progress on Intervale Terrace. Police broke up the fight.
