Stop & Shop Introduces Pickup At Reading Store

READING, MA — Stop & Shop's Reading store is a new pickup location for the grocery chain. The store, located at 25 Walkers Brook Drive, will allow shoppers to place an order online and get groceries brought directly to their car.

"We are happy to provide our Reading residents with a more efficient and convenient grocery shopping experience," Margaret Pelser, Stop & Shop store manager, said. "The launch of the Pickup services provides our customers with an easy solution to stock up on their summer essentials."

To schedule a pickup, customers can visit www.stopandshop.com or the Stop & Shop mobile app, click on "Order Online" and select "Pickup" at the Reading store. Shoppers can then head to the store at their chosen pickup time, park in a designated pickup spot, and call 781-944-2919 to let the store team know they have arrived. Stop & Shop team members will then deliver the order right to their car.

New customers can receive the service free for 90 days by entering SSFREEPICKUP at checkout. Minimum purchase required. The online pickup fee is waived on the first order and then on all subsequent orders of $30 or more placed within 90 days of the first order. Valid for first-time residential customers only in select zip codes.
