1. Revere Man Faces Up to 25 Years for Reading Fatal Shooting Case. Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone announced that a Revere man pleaded guilty to a charge of manslaughter in connection with the death of Reading resident Joseph Ronan, 22, inAugust of 2011. Revere resident John Burke, 26, is facing up to 25 years in prison.

3. Liquor License Granted for Portland Pie Company. The selectmen unanimously passed an all liquor license for Portland Pie Co. Tuesday night. According to Chief Operating Officer Joe O’Neil, they hope to open the eatery in late June. The company is currently in their fourth week of construction.
