READING, MA — The Town of Reading has brought in a contractor for utility improvements in the downtown area. The project will extend into next month.

N. GRANESE & SONS, INC HAS BEEN CONTRACTED BY THE TOWN OF READING TO CONDUCT UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS IN DOWNTOWN READING. AS PART OF THE PROJECT, TRENCH RESTOREATION ACTIVITIES WILL BE UNDERWAY STARTING ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 14TH AT 7:00 AM.

Minimal parking, delays, detours, and road closures should be expected.

During daytime paving operations, parking within the work zone will be prohibited from 7AM to 4PM, Monday thru Friday.

During nighttime paving operations (Main St), parking within the work zone will be prohibited from 9PM to 6AM Monday through Friday.
