• Basketball hoops:
Must be pulled back at least 10 feet from the street; any closer runs the risk of having the hoop destroyed or damage to the Town’s plowing equipment.

• Christmas Tree disposal:
Trees will be picked up on your regularly scheduled trash day between Monday January 8-Friday January 12. The Compost Center will be open for tree drop off from 8am-2:30pm on Saturday January 13. With the coming snow, please pull Christmas trees away from the road and off sidewalks before the storm this weekend through to Monday morning. Trees left out risk damaging Town equipment as well as getting frozen into the snow. Trees frozen into the snowbank will NOT be collected by Republic Services.

• Clear catch basins:
Please keep catch basins near your home free of debris (including leaves) so that rain and snowmelt can drain properly. Clear storm drains help prevent street flooding.

• Shovel out hydrants:
Hydrants can get buried in deep snow and hinder emergency responders during a fire. Please take a few minutes to clear 3 feet around hydrants after a significant snowfall.
