Two Mailboxes Damaged in North Reading

The following is a look at some of the calls handled by the  from Wednesday through Thursday. The information is open to the public.

Wednesday, April 25

  • At At 12:16 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
  • At 4 p.m., a caller reported a possible phone scam. She was advised to watch her credit.
  • At 9:01 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. 

Thursday, April 26

  • At 7:55 a.m., a caller reported a suspicious motor vehicle on Haverhill Street pulling in and out of driveways. Police found that it was a person delivering newspapers.
  • At 9:31 a.m., a Ridgeway Road resident reported that her mailbox was damaged.
  • At 12:32 p.m., a Ridgeway Road resident resident reported that her mailbox was damaged.
  • At 4 p.m., a Fieldcrest Terrace resident reported finding two shell casings in her yard. She dropped them off at the police station.
  • At 5:14 p.m., a Grant Street resident reported that his iPhone was stolen in Saugus.
  • At 6:08 p.m., a caller reported a golf cart driving on the road.
