Vehicle Broken Into on Harvest Road in Reading

The following is an excerpt from the log from Tuesday through Wednesday. The information is open to the public.
Tuesday, May 1
- At 8:37 a.m., a caller reported a car accident on Haverhill Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 11:35 a.m., a Lowell Street resident reported an ongoing problem with email fraud.
- At 1:16 p.m., a caller reported a bad check. The person who wrote the check agreed to pay the amount written on the check.
- At 3:25 p.m., a Harvest Road resident reported that his vehicle was broken into.
- At 3:57 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 4:41 p.m., a caller reported that his safe containing a large amount of cash was stolen in February from his Winslow Road residence. He no longer lives at the address and Woburn Police had been investigating the case previously.
Wednesday, May 2

- At 2:33 p.m., a caller reported a needle found on the ground on Walkers Brook Drive. Police disposed of the needle.
- At 3:05 p.m., a caller reported a car accident at the intersection of Ash and Bolton Streets. An elder service van hit a crossing gate. No injuries were reported.
- At 3:30 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Salem Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 4:16 p.m., a caller reported a car accident on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
- At 8:24 p.m., a caller reported a man yelling profanities in the area of Johanna Drive. Police spoke with the man who was upset about an earlier argument with his grandmother.
