Voting For Berman Is A Grand Slam For Reading

A letter to the Editor from Jacob Berman:

When I rounded third base after launching a grand slam in my final Little League at-bat, he was the first one to greet me. When I managed to hit the one snow bank in a stadium sized parking lot while learning how to drive for the first time, he was riding shotgun. When I need someone to talk to when I miss home or college is stressing me out, he’s always there for me.

Yes he is my dad, but he’s also a friend. Anyone who is fortunate enough to know Barry Berman knows one thing- he puts everyone before himself. He’s the kind of leader we all need going to bat for us. Barry Berman’s got your back. He loves Reading with all his heart, and he will work nonstop to do the right thing for you, the voters, and for every single resident of our little city on a hill. While dad and I don’t always agree or see eye-to-eye regarding political issues, I will always admire his willingness to listen to what you have to say, and remain open-minded to all perspectives.

So when you’re deciding who to vote for in the upcoming election on April 2, remember, Barry Berman will always have your back. I owe him and my incredible mom most of the credit for the man I am today. I’m proud to call Barry Berman my father, and my selectman!
