Water Line Installation In Reading To Close Local Roads
The town has released details on road work that is expected to last about a month.

READING, MA — Road work to install water main lines in Reading will result in road closures. The work is expected to last about a month.
The below statement from the Town of Reading includes more information:
Beginning (this) week, the Town’s contractor, Oliveira Construction, will be mobilizing near Emerson Street in preparation for the upcoming water main improvement project. During construction, delays should be anticipated as Emerson Street will be temporarily closed during working hours from 7AM to 3PM. Please use caution when driving and walking in this area and seek an alternate route to school.

Residents within and abutting the work zone can expect a notice tomorrow as well as message boards in the area alerting motorists of the upcoming work. It is anticipated the work will last approximately one month.
